My MONSTA is great, brilliant design

Hello Charissa

This is Shane, we ordered some boards a couple of months ago and we are now preparing for next orders.

My MONSTA is great, brilliant design,

works so good for the waves here in Taiwan.

For my next board, I would like to order one for winter waves, which is fast and sometimes overhead.
Model and dimension I have in mind is either
1.  Accelerator LE”, 6 x 18 3/4 x 2 3/8 or
2. Monsta step up, 5’11″ x 19 x 2 3/8

I am 170 cm, aroung 70 kg, age 40, surf for less than 4 years.
I would like to ask for Todd’s opinion about the sizes and the model.

thanks in advance

regards,

Shane, Taiwan

Y’all continue to impress.

Dear Charissa and Todd,

WOW!  I just got Brandon’s board today from Fedex.  I pick him up at midnight tonight at the Airport.  I’m sorry, I couldnt resit opening the box, I justified it by telling myself that I had to check it for shipment damages from the deliver, (of course there were none, but I knew this ;-) ) and I must say I was blown away by the design!  Todd did a great job with the paint job!  At least he’ll be camoflauged from all the Tiger Sharks on the North Shore now.  Y’all continue to impress.  Thanks for your kind words and prayers.  Hopefully when I return I’ll see Proctor surfboards making their way into local shops around the island.  I have a feeling that these two boards will generate some more business from the island for y’all.  Tomorrow when we hit the surf we’ll be sure to take a picture to send yall of the terrible twosome with the sickest boards on the island!

I can get anything the long boarders get

Hi Todd,

I have been meaning to write you for some time now about the Little Rascal you made for me last year. The biggest problem I have is that it is so fast, if I pump too much, I out run the wave!

There is no way on earth that

someone my age, 52, and only surfing 3 years

should be doing what I am doing on that board.

I have had it in solid overhead surf and it holds the wall like a champ.

In mushy point breaks I can get anything the long boarders get, only I can scream down the line now.  The reason I got the board was to learn beach break on a shorter board, and it does that great.  I feel so solid on that thing, but it is so light, amazing.  Expect a call from me to order another one, this time short enough to duck dive.

A question for you, if I weigh 168, and am 6ft tall, what length would I need to be able to duck dive it?

All my best,

David, Los Angeles, CA

FYI, I was out this morning, and

I have become the guy who now rules my break, that is until my 52 year old arms run out of gas!
Look forward to speaking to you,

Best wishes,

the thing was just screaming down the line the whole time,

it goes so fast and explodes off the lip like nothing i’ve ridden before,

the lil rascal 2 has to be the best board I’ve ever owned,

your dedication to customer service was awesome as well, I’ve been looking at the Monsta for my next board, consider me a customer for life.

my new boyfriend

Hey Todd & Charissa,

Just wanted to let you know how much I love my board (Rascal). I was reminded that I had not touched base with you guys since I’ve had the board until I saw Todd last week driving through C St. parking lot.

My new board has shocked me

with how much fun I am able to have on it

(excluding the learning curve of getting spanked quicker, faster, harder, etc.)

I really love my (“two quiver”) boards, both for totally different reasons!

My boards bring me much happiness,

Thank You!   :)

each time I ride it I like it more

Charissa and Todd,
I really like the greased pig!  I’ve only surfed it 4 or 5 times so far (new baby, busy at work, etc.) but

each time I ride it I like it more.

Today I surfed Magnolia Street in HB.

The waves were 3-4,

peaky and super fun, and

the greased pig was awesome.

Thank you so much for working with me and for your generosity.  I really appreciate it!

If there is a word beyond Stoked, I'm that.

Getting better all the time. Always stoked because of you. Here are a few new pics of my progress.

Todd is my Shaper, he will always be now.

I put my trust in him after I just got back

into this sport and man…. he did it right.

I guess that’s what has blown me away the most.

I’m 47 years old, been away from surfing for 25 years (feeling very lost) and Todd told me “This board will take you to the next level” I trusted him, I still can’t believe how it has all unfolded. You have seen the pics. I know I’m not a shredder by any means.

I’m stoked more then you know to be surfing as well as I am and getting better all the time at my age and time away from it.

I hope I pull my 1st Air before I hit 50

HAHA!  Hmmm I guess I can make that a goal LOL!

Maybe that’s it too, Not only is it a top quality board, Todd is top quality in picking the right board for someone feeling lost in the mass of boards to pick from. I felt like a person not just a bunch of numbers.

If there is a word beyond Stoked, I’m that.
