way friskier than my go-to single fins and 2+1's

Hey Todd, not to sound like a kook but I just got my mind blown on the 7’10″.
That thing paddles (glides actually)
like a log but absolutely rips.
It transitions rail to rail insanely well and the quad set-up keeps things familiar
yet way friskier than my go-to single fins and 2+1′s.
Seriously, that board is
EXACTLY what I was after.
Thanks again. – Jason Wiseman

The Proctor board outperforms all 4 boards in all conditions
Hello Charissa/Todd
The board was outstanding! It was exactly what I needed.
I am in the process of selling 4 past longboards since
The Proctor board outperforms
all 4 boards in all conditions.
I entered my first surfing contest very excited only to learn the longboard is judged by the classic style not progressive. I bought a 10’0 CJ nelson Noserider board to learn the basics. I am looking for a noserider longboard and would like to discuss with Todd what would be best for me. I would like to see if I can get a board before the 3rd week of AUG. wish is our next big contest. If possible I would like to set up an appt. Thur.- 3-5pm your time, PST. By the way-several East Coast pro longboarders came over to take a look at the Proctor longboard and were asking lots of questions.

plenty of volume but still able to whip it around
I was in there this week to look into ordering a new board and left with a slightly used 6’6’ rascal.
Couldn’t be more stoked. The day I bought it I surfed 2-3’ weak waves with my son and had a great time –
plenty of volume but still able to whip it around.
Before that I would have been bored on a longboard.
I will still get a new high performance quad when I can justify the cost but this will no doubt be my 80% board,
i.e., 80% this will be under my feet.
Thanks again,
Jim

I no longer ride a longboard, because this board is just so much more fun
As you know, Todd shaped a Little Rascal for me about a year ago, so this is a relatively long-term review. I had always ridden longboards prior to getting the Rascal, so Todd made it large (7’3). It was a little bit of a jump from a 9′ board, but not bad.
Since that time, the Rascal has gotten to be my “all around” board.
It handles anything from knee high summer waves
to well overhead winter swell.
I found that I like riding it as a quad, because it holds well even on big surf and is really fast. The quads give the board a lot of drive and allow it to make sections that I cannot make on my shortboard thruster.
All of my longboard riding friends love the Rascal.
Todd built the Rascal as a Proxy and it has held up very well. To this point, it doesn’t even have heel dents on the top and virtually looks new. Since I’m retired, I ride this board almost every day, so that is really saying something about the longevity of these boards.
This board became a transition board to ride thrusters and small fish.
I no longer ride a longboard,
because this board is just so much more fun.
It does everything my thruster (by another well known California shaper) does, only better. It is definitely my “go to” board for all conditions and travel.
Working with you and Todd has been great. Thank you for all of your help.

the concept board that you made me has improved my surfing immeasurably
Todd, first I’d like to give you feedback about the concept board you made me a little over a year ago.
Todd, the concept board that you made me
has improved my surfing immeasurably.
I’m the guy who, because of a bad lower back, has to knee paddle and pop up from my knees in one motion (which takes pressure off my lower back).
You listened to my unusual (re-invented old-school) style of surfing,
and made an 8′ concept board for me by combining different parts from four of your existing board designs.
It was a masterful creation on your part,
allowing me to easily catch a wide variety of waves.
I’m sure you’ve heard this before, but your patience in taking the time to listen to my unique surfing needs and your creativity in designing what
I am convinced is the perfect board for me &
has brought a tremendous amount of happiness to my life.
I can’t thank you enough.

I was also surprised to find how well the board nose rides
I figured I should finally give you some feedback on the longboard you shaped me at the end of the summer. My wife and spent all of November in Costa Rica so I finally got some good surfing in on the new board, and it surfs GREAT! The board is just what I was looking for;
it’s fast and very responsive.
I really like the pin tail and
the board turns really smooth.
I was also surprised to find how well the board nose rides.
I’m still trying to get the quad fin set up figured out, but I do like how hard the board carves with the four fins set up. I think I’ll primarily surf the board with the three fin set up but I would still say the quad fin set up was worth the money, and
I really like having the option of
switching things up and getting a totally
different feel out of the board if I want it.
I’m really looking forward to taking the board out and surfing it on some nice big and mushy PNW waves, we only had two days of head high waves in CR, but I can already tell its going to surf great here at home as well.
Thanks again,

Vintage hand shaped Proctor Longboard still a favorite after 8 years

Todd,
Do you remember me?
I bought the first board out of your factory when you opened up.
It’s a hand shaped performance longboard.
This is still my favorite board
after 8 years
I’ve caught some really gnarly waves on this baby.
I love this board!

If i don't get the board returned I will re-order another as it was just a amazing ride
Hi There
Well the board was awesome. I ended up spending a week + at san onofre .
Had so much fun and the board performed awesome.
I got back to Antigua last night unfortunately board-less as the airline seems to have misplaced the board.
Anyhow , thanx again for that piece of art. I really enjoyed riding it over the last few weeks.
If i don’t get the board returned I will re-order
another as it was just a amazing ride.
