I was also surprised to find how well the board nose rides

I figured I should finally give you some feedback on the longboard you shaped me at the end of the summer.  My wife and spent all of November in Costa Rica so I finally got some good surfing in on the new board, and it surfs GREAT!  The board is just what I was looking for;

it’s fast and very responsive.

I really like the pin tail and

the board turns really smooth.

I was also surprised to find how well the board nose rides.

I’m still trying to get the quad fin set up figured out, but I do like how hard the board carves with the four fins set up.  I think I’ll primarily surf the board with the three fin set up but I would still say the quad fin set up was worth the money, and

I really like having the option of

switching things up and getting a totally

different feel out of the board if I want it.

I’m really looking forward to taking the board out and surfing it on some nice big and mushy PNW waves, we only had two days of head high waves in CR, but I can already tell its going to surf great here at home as well.

Thanks again,

it totally opened up new opportunities for having a great time is smaller waves

Hi Charissa and Todd,
I just wanted to write and say thank for the fantastic boards.  It’s been awhile since I got them, but it was a protracted summer out here at Ocean Beach SF, and I really didn’t have the opportunity to

fully experience the full bliss of the G-4 E

until the Lupit swell rolled through with really nice winds up here.

I’ve also really been digging the rascall II all summer (and most of our funky October as well). . .

it totally opened up new opportunities for

having a great time is smaller waves, and even held up great

in waves when i took it out when it was bigger than expected.

I was worried I wouldn't be able to surf it going down from a 7'6 but it surfed like a dream

Hi again…

Just to say the board is amazing!!

Todd must have some magic surf dust and

he has applied a very liberal coating of it

all over the board.

I spent 7 and a half hours in the water on Sunday and only got out because my shoulders stopped functioning and I couldn’t catch any more waves.

I was worried I wouldn’t be able to surf it

going down from a 7’6

but it surfed  like a dream.

Tried it on the set waves and also the shorebreak

just for a laugh and it ripped either way.

Can really get it on its edge. Can’t wait till next weekend!! Thanks a million!!!
All the best,

the Pavote flies where few can follow

so many things to say so here i go……

the Pavote flies where few can follow,

flowing from funky to functional faster than funkmaster-flex. few can fathom the functionality of the beatuiful bird so bountiful in its ways. so many inquiries that there is not enough time in the universe to explain to all…….

all i can scream to the people

as i fly buy is that it is a falcon

born out of Tood Proctor’s mind

and if you want to understand just go get one.

the Pavote is the best board I have ever ridden in my life!

Hey Todd and Charissa,

I just wanted to let you know that

the El Pavote is the best board I have ever ridden in my life!

For the first couple of days, I took it into some smaller surf: mushy 2 to 3 feet.

It has extraordinarily fast paddling speed

which allowed me to pull into basically any wave I wanted.

It also picks up extraordinary speed in smaller waves like no other, allowing me to have a blast, even on the smallest days.

Today and the day before, I took the Pavote out into some real surf, from 5 feet to some 8 foot sets.

The board is absolutely ridiculous in larger surf.

I got so much speed down the line and pulled off

some of the best turns in my life today.

Although the waves today were not the best I have ridden, this session has been the best session ever, due to this spectacular board.
Thank you so much for shaping me an incredible board and providing excellent costumer service along the way.
I look forward to purchasing my next additions to my quiver from you and I wish that every deserving surfer could experience riding a Pavote because it is, and will remain my favorite board.

Thanks again,

Instead of pearling, not making waves, and if I do – riding white wash, I have for the first time managed to go down the line

Todd and Charissa,

I am loving my Rascall II.

Instead of pearling, not making waves, and if I do -

riding white wash,

I have for the first time managed to “go down the line”.

Thank you so much for heaps of fun in the surf.

Just out of curiosity (and potentially for future purchase) what is the Pavote all about, how does it differ from the Rascall II?

Cheers,

Wow, it is unlike anything I have ever ridden and it rips.

Hi Todd & Charissa,

Hope this email finds you both in good health and glassy waves!

I wanted to thank you for the Amazing Job

on the “Proxy Greased Rascal” you

shaped me this spring!

Wow, it is unlike anything I have ever ridden

and it rips.

I have ridden it in the worst of the worst storm swell, Doheny on a 2ft day and Salt Creek when its over head.

It does it all!

It has improved my surfing dramatically and it has become my go to board for just about everything.

Thanks for treating us all like family!
