Just wanted to forward a few pics of the Rascal in Indo

Hi Todd,
Hope all is well.
Just wanted to forward a few pics of the Rascal in Indo.
These were actually taken last year but just got them on the last trip.
The Rascal II is going great by the way!
Didn’t ride it too much on the most recent trip because the waves were pumping most of the time.
I let a few of the other guys ride it and they had a blast!
Thanks for everything and I’ll see you at Pitas this winter for sure (fingers crossed)!

The Lacerator was ridiculous!
Hi Charissa,
The Lacerator was ridiculous!
I surfed it in head-high to
double over head beach break and reef.
It paddled into the waves easy, still very responsive and fast in the pocket.
Thanks Todd!
Sick Board in fast waves and Barreeeeelllssss!!!

you created a masterpiece for me and it is my quiver of choice by farrrrrr.
I got it on St. Pattys Day and
it’s the only board I’ve ridden since.
Its a 5’10″ Greased Rascalwith a 5 fin setup. I live in New Jersey so I usually use the quad set up but when it gets big with hurricane swell I usually rock the thruster set up.
Honestly man the board is so amazing I can catch basically any wave with a few paddles if I’m in the optimal spot.
It is great at catching waves, it’s extremely fast, I can make a lot of sections I otherwise wouldn’t be able to make if i was riding a different board, and most of all i can get barreled out of my mind because of the way it just sits in the pocket of the wave. You really did shape the thing to perfection for me. I am so thankful I went through you to get my surfboard because I cant imagine riding anything else. I paid a ton of money for the board especially with the shipping and handling but it was worth every penny. From the bottom of my heart man I appreciate you for crafting me this beautiful creation.
I just wanted to tell you that you
created a masterpiece for me and
it is my quiver of choice by farrrrrr.
I think that the board will last for a while because I’ve had it for two years now and aside from some dings it is in perfect condition. I think its because I had you put on the S-glass. I surf a lot and I’m not easy on the board at all, it stands up to everything I put it through and it still looks great.
Thank you so much Todd, keep doing your thing man you shape a wicked stick!

way friskier than my go-to single fins and 2+1′s

Hey Todd, not to sound like a kook but I just got my mind blown on the 7’10″.

That thing paddles (glides actually)
like a log but absolutely rips.
It transitions rail to rail insanely well and the quad set-up keeps things familiar
yet way friskier than my go-to single fins and 2+1′s.
Seriously, that board is
EXACTLY what I was after.
Thanks again. – Jason Wiseman

THANK YOU for all of your help and for answering all of my MANY questions!
Hi Charissa:
I just wanted to THANK YOU for all of your help and for answering all of my MANY questions! We made it up to your store yesterday and picked up the surprise birthday board for Jeff.
He was stoked! The board is beautiful -
it came out better than I could have ever imagined -
it’s almost too pretty to use! Todd was awesome – gave us the whole tour, showed Jeff how to do everything (install fins, wax, etc.). We couldn’t be happier!
You and Todd run a great business,
have a superb website and
make top-notch boards.
May God continue to bless you in life and business!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Lightweight, high performance, solid, predictable
Charissa and Todd,
I’ve had enough opportunities to ride the new 9′6 HPLB where I feel I can write a decent review.
First off, the craftsmanship of the board is really top notch.
EPS boards often come out with smudgy paint and dodgy glassing and this board is a far cry from that — the glassing is solid and the airspray looks super clean.
In the water, the weight and flex dynamics
of the board are very predictable and fluid.
It’s not a super stiff Surftech type feel, it’s not a damper poly-type feel, it’s somewhere in between.
Lightweight, high performance, solid, predictable.
The board turns very well from the back 2/3 of the board. This is enhanced by the generous rocker and probably the bottom contours as well. I think the board is stable enough on the nose to enjoy some nice tip time as well. I haven’t had it out yet on a decent beach-break noseride day where I could really spend a ton of time on the tip, but I can tell there are some solid dynamics in the bottom contours that will enable some fun in the future!
Overall, this is a great ‘everyday’ high perf board
and I expect to get a lot of use out of it.
I may bring it to Hawaii in the next few weeks to try it out in some decent juice.
FYI I thought the 7″ Cutaway fin and SB1’s were really over-finned for the board in the conditions I am surfing it in. I swapped out the SB1’s for SB3’s (375’s vs 325’s) and I intend to put in a 6.5″ Cutaway as soon as I can get my hands on one. A lot of this has to do with the mediocre conditions that are available to me, where I want as much looseness as possible. The board is not overly volumed — if anything, it’s pretty thinned out in the rails, so it enjoys the looseness a lot. I want to try it as a single soon — too many fins, too little time!
Thanks again, will be in touch soon.
Best,
