Just back from Nica,

Thanks!!

was geeking how well it did from mush to heavy

Speaking of Nica I ended up on the V2 Monsta the whole time and was geeking how well it did from mush to heavy.

The guys at the camp kept asking what they could do to get me to leave it.

These boards are insane, slowly having a full Proctor quiver (Rascal, G4E, Monsta)!

I was surfing like a kid again and then some

Charissa,

Myself, Kenny (Robert), Lindsay and Karen (Kenny’s lady) just got home from Costa Rica last week. It has kind of been a drag being home. Cold weather, snow and flatness. On the bright side my Mom and cats missed us. Oh well, next years annual voyage is only 10 months away!

I just wanted to report that Kenny is in love with his Pipsqueak!

I am not sure if Todd has shaped any other MonstaMethods but the thing is insane.

I was surfing like a kid again and then some.

I am in love and will need another in the near future.

I was “training” before I left on my carver and I really think that had a lot to do with being able to surf good right away. Anywho, I just wanted to let you know that both of us had a great time and our boards had a lot to do with it. Also, that cat you guys have is huge! Lindsay and I have cats. Most of the time I prefer the company of a feline over humans.

Talk soon about a new MonstaMethod!

took my Rascal 2 to Nica last September and I was blown away

Per our conversation,

I took my Rascal 2 to Nica last September and I was blown away with how fun a fish could be in powerful surf.

We had a great week there, with the smaller days running chest to head and the larger days running just under double over head with perfect conditions the whole time. I brought my Rascal and my Monsta and loved them both.

The Monsta handled like a magic carpet,

better than any shortboard I’ve owned,

but the Rascal was probably my favorite to ride.

I love riding a fish and the Rascal was like a high performance board in a fish shape…full rail turns, could stall on a dime, top to bottom, it let me surf to the best of my “limited” abilities haha.

Clearly I liked it so much that one year later I am ordering another one the same day I snapped the original Rascal’s tail…

On a side note, I’ve been seeing more and more of your boards getting recognition and I think that you absolutely deserve it. Stoked to see your hard work and AMAZING customer service is paying off and getting the recognition you both deserve.

Cheers from the Panhandle,

they work even better than they look

Hi Charissa, Todd and the Proctor crew,

sorry I couldn’t get back to you earlier to tell you how I felt about the boards Todd shaped for me.

First of all they look insane,

and what is best is that they work

even better than they look… is that real?

The Super-Typhoon has become in the last weeks my first choice to hit the water and surf those nice winter swells.

The board paddles great for its size and goes super fast. It really makes me feel confident when taking off and I can now take waves I thought I’d never make the first section before. Plus it holds really good and accelerates like a champ after each turn. I’m really happy with this board.

The Monsta is definitely from out of this world.

It just got everything, the looks, the speed, the hold and projection with this magic little springiness thanks to its unique construction. Also it’s super light AND super strong, I hurt both my thighs by hitting it under water, twice on exactly the same spot right over the knee. As a result I had two big bruises that kept me out of the water for two weeks and the board didn’t have the slightest ding on it!!

Thanks to all the Proctor crew for these beauties.

I really feel I’ve improved a lot in only a few weeks riding your boards.

I feel I surf much faster than before, not only are the boards super fast but I also am faster to recover and prepare for the next move after each turn which is really what I wanted to improve with my surfing.

I wish you all a happy, healthy and lively new year. Cheers,

Hi Charissa,

just wanted to tell you again how stoked I am about my Monsta. I had a great session last week in super hollow shoulder high waves.

The Monsta allows me to feel confident with everything in my surfing

like paddling out, paddling into waves, taking off, air dropping…

It’s just magic!!!

But what impressed me again is the solidity of the construction.

Getting out of the barrel was a bit tricky and the lip fell at least 10 times on the nose of my board. Each time I thought that was it, that was the end of my Monsta but it’s still alive and without the slightest ding and ready for the next session!!!

Thanks soo much for such a great creation. Cheers, Alfonso

It’s a great feeling to surf with confidence

Hey Charissa,

Just wanted to say how stoked I was

out in Maui this time around

with my new Monsta and g4e.

It’s a great feeling to surf with confidence in the super bad ass equipment under your feet.

I think I surfed better on this trip than I ever have.

I always think of the Proctor team and how truly amazing the boards are

Charissa, well your aim is dead on cuz you have blessed me tremendously and God truly did some amazing work pairing the two of you together, no doubt!

I haven’t surfed in two months due to schedule, family and then hurt shoulder but forced my self out this weekend. I surfed 2 x’s at Pitas Point and I am pretty sure that I caught some of the best and longest waves of my life.

I rode my Monsta both times

and felt that I surfed my best ever

and never fell or stuttered on my 100+ yard waves.

Getting to my feet wasn’t always pretty since my arms are so out of paddle shape but once up and going

the board was jamming and fluid.

The Monsta skate has kept me sane when I am out of the water that long and keeps my legs in shape as well as lets me go through the smooth carving motion.

My legs were so strong on those super long waves with lots of turns and floaters!!

I know you have probably got too much feedback from me by now but just know that

after every session I always think of the Proctor team and how truly amazing the boards are as well what great people you are!!

I have never thought about boards or the shapers in the past after having great sessions.

You’re one of the few people on earth that are doing what they are really meant to be doing down here

Hi Charissa and Todd,

I just wanted to tell you that the boards arrived yesterday.

Thank you so much for your kindness and attention from day 1.

And Todd, I’m more than sure you’re good at doing plenty of different things but

I can tell you picked the right one as your job.

I can’t believe you shaped these 2 beauties just by hand!!

You’re definitely an artist and one of the

few people on earth that are doing what

they are really meant to be doing down here.

I still haven’t ridden the boards but there’s definitely some magic into them. Thanks for sharing your gift.

I’ll send you a mail after a few sessions to give you my impressions on your beautiful creations.

Kindest regards,

Very snappy and catches waves like a dream

I got a few sessions on the new Monsta and it is a super fun board.

Very snappy and catches waves like a dream.

I’ve been riding in the quad set-up and in nothing above shoulder high but can’t wait to try out the thruster and let this board out of its cage.

Thanks you guys for putting out da kine

Hey how’s it?  Just surfed with my buddy from kauai who hasn’t seen my new board yet.

After we surfed he told me he hasn’t seen

a board look so good under my feet

as da monsta and that it was shaped perfect for me.

Just confirmation to what I feel. Thanks you guys for putting out da kine.
