It’s your board…talk to the shaper. Proctor Surfboards Worldwide Custom
man it is one of the best boards I have ever ridden
yo proctor family… we just got a great south swell in acapulco, right when all the cartel craziness….
i decided to ride the apache.
man it is one of the best boards
I have ever ridden,
5’8″ in solid 8 to 10 feet seems fake
but it’s not – that thing can be pushed
as far as u want, and today i used in
4 ft and was amazing -
light fast & responsive,
not to mention I am 200 pounds.
thanks proctor, u have some picts soon, god bless

it's really pushing my surfing ability
Hey Todd & Charissa-
I’m loving my 6’4″ blackbird!
I constantly get comments about it (digi camo with titanium 1 and 2) and
it’s really pushing my surfing ability.
I can definitely grow into this board.
Thanks, Eric

Christy and I will send a few pics over for your blog shortly, thanks again and keep doin’ what your doin, your a true artist!

everyone who tries your pavote, loves it
Hi Todd :
This is Antonio, from Taiwan ( El Pavote surfboard )
I have been thinking in adding one or two of your boards to my quiver.
I will be road traveling and surfing
during the holidays ( Guatemala,
el salvador and maybe Nicaragua ).
Anyways, what I am looking for,
is to have an all around quiver,
if possible with 2 boards but if you recommend me 3 ( including the pavote ) to cover all, I will agree with your opinion.
As I mentioned to you Taiwan wave are not the so powerful, but they can get during typhoons.
So I have been thinking to add a
more shortboard style for those
good days in Taiwan,
but with abilities to work in not only perfect conditions ( Monsta vs Accelerator vs Greased Pig II ) and for the typhoon season and traveling a round pin tail with more rocker and good versatility ( blackbird vs sr-71).
But what do I know!
Please let me know you recommendation,
last time was the perfect choice.
Really looking forward to get the sickest quiver in Taiwan !!!

I was really surprised how easily it paddled and gets into waves really early
Todd/Charissa,
I just wanted to drop you a line and say thank you, the board came in on Tuesday, I was traveling on business so just got to open it up Friday and surfed yesterday and again this morning. It was shoulder to head high and clean yesterday and a little smaller today.
I was really surprised how easily it paddled
and gets into waves really early
for it only being a 6’4″.
The board was super fast and
rides like a skate board!
Todd the dimensions are right on,
I did not realize how bad I have been
sinking my other boards now that I am older
and thicker,
thanks for sticking to your guns
with the 2″ 5/8th thickness
The fulcrum rocker is a trip it doesn’t feel like I have much rocker in the nose when paddling yet I can still take a late drop like my bushmans which have ridiculous nose rocker, inch+ more. Do you start the rocker closer to the center of balance on the board?
I really like it, cool innovation!

When you stand up it just feels like butter. Just surfs so smooth.
Todd…. This board you shaped me is money!!!!
Just surfed north shore pumping
dbl overhead + glass….
Then drive to the south shore and caught overhead lighthouse at diamond head.
What really stands out is the buoyancy…. Less then a normal stiff arse epoxy but more then a poly.
When you stand up it just feels like butter.
Just surfs so smooth.
A great board for a guy my size.
It’s just smooth… That’s the only way to describe it. Everything flows together smoothly on this board.
just surfed puena point on the north shore of hawaii today. 12-18 foot faces. 6’6″ G-4.f [fulcrum] no problem paddling into those waves. had it set up quad to with those sf-4′s you sent me. ill post pics tomorrow
Going on 6 months on my G4-e (f) this thing is pretty mental.
paddles amazing with that entry rocker.
Definitely worth every penny for the Proxy and kevlar patch.
thing is durable. barely a pressure ding where my poly boards have 1-2 inch depressions where my front foot goes.
Colossal wipeouts on the North shore of hawaii, broke my leash twice on this board.
surfs good in 90% of surf i encounter on the north shore of oahu and 60% of the surf i surf on the south shore.
thanks again todd!!!
8 months later….
todd-
Surfed my G4-E today on the north shore. pumping glassy surf.
the thing just keeps going and going…
ive buckled it once, huge delam in the nose…
got it prof. fixed….and its still the go to board.
You said this board would take me to the next level. It has already.
Just want to let you know that I love this board after 1st trip out. I used it as a quad. Next time I will surf it as a Thruster.
It is so responsive, it went any place I wanted it to go and quick.
It felt like I was on ice it was so fast on my first wave.
These pics were only from the inside section, the wife didn’t get any bigger wave pics
: ( They were breaking 5 to 8′
You said this board would take me to the next level.
It has already.
I feel now that I CAN. I am so STOKED that you made me such a SICK board. I love it. I love you for it. I will see you soon. I will bring more Tito’s for you two. THANKS my brother! You did it right again.

Not like I haven’t said it before but I am so Stoked with every session.
With all kinds of waves and I’m having a blast!
THANK YOU BROTHER for this board YOU picked for me. I am getting better with each session. I had fun last weekend on some longboard waves.
Loads of speed on mushy waves.
I even had a guy who just paddled out say to me…” I saw you ripping those lefts” . I don’t know about that but it was cool still.
This 47 year old feels like a teen
out there again HAHA!
Thank you Todd. Can’t say that enough.
By far the smoothest and quickest shortboard I've ever had
Hey TODD!!!!
Super psyched on your
6’1″ X 18 3/8 X 2 3/16 G.4.e!!!
By far the smoothest and quickest shortboard
I’ve ever had.
It really does “everything”
well including barrels!!
Now, I have the Lil Rascal II
to shred the smaller stuff,
and the G.4.e for the regular days.
I recently hurt my back so I missed most of this last swell which was a bummer, but I managed to get a few pics from the beginning of the swell with my new Proctor Surfboard. Thanks again Team Proctor for making an awesome product!!

Hi Todd & Charissa:
The boards arrived today, in perfect condition.
They arrived in the afternoon, so I didn’t have the opportunity to try them yet. I’m not in a hurry,
as I will be surfing my El Pavote all january and
half of february for my chinese new year holiday’s.
I will be surfing across Taiwan looking for waves,
and the Pavote is exactly what I need.
As soon I finish the trip I will write you back.
By the way, the boards look amazing!!!
way better than my expectations .
The channels, the carbon rails, everything is perfect.
I’m 110 % satisfied with my Pavote.
Before I say good bye, I want to thank you Todd for the time in making the boards and Charissa for all your attentions.
Looking forward to contact you for my next magic board !!! ( hope to save the money for the summer )

The Pavote is amazing!
It works in everything….points, beach breaks, and reefs.
I’ve never had a board be so good in the barrel.
These Pavotes work like slingshots, you can make any section!
I like to ride the Pavote as a thruster cuz it’s fast and loose already . You just need the fin setup to hold and control the speed you get on these boards.
Much love, to the board I love, Da Pavote!
